A CONSIDERED STYLE
Getting into the mind and actions of a key stage 3 pupil was tricky at the start, but after conducting a short interview with my 12-year-old sister, who is currently KS3, I was able to see what it is they want, why they want it and also how something such as a digital learning platform could transform not only the classroom, but also how they learn as a whole.
ADHEREING TO THE CURRICULUM
Making sure this service was appropriate to the age group was something which I wanted to achieve, I feel with the content added it gives the teacher plenty of resources to be brought into lessons, with the SDG facts and stats, an interactive map to employ that geographical slant and also relevant, live news articles which could be used for comprehension.
KEEPING IT GEOGRAPHICAL
Countries, Maps, Flags... they are important to know, and recognise but this is an aspect of geography which is starting to diminish. I wanted to make sure this played a part in my app, its all very well knowing about Sustainable Development, but where relies on it the most, is what really matters.
